ABOUT US

Fuelled by our enthusiasm for bouldering as well as the wish to offer this sport a creative and extraordinary stage, we’ve never stopped fine-tuning and upgrading the concept of the HardMoves Boulderleague.
Together with Friederike “Fritze” Kops, Jonas Baumann and Tobi Reichert from the routesetting team we’re an eclectic assortment of ardent daydreamers and megalomaniacs – unpredictable and with plenty of ideas. We put climbing walls onto water, boulderers into ecstasy and local authorities into a swoon.

TOBIAS REICHERT

THOMAS SCHULTE (†06.05.2009)

Thomas discovered his knack for climbing relatively late in life but soon made up for it by living this passion intensely. He became well-known in the climbing communities of Cologne and, later, Wuppertal, often spending so much time in climbing spots near and far – but most preferably in Mayen or the Palatinate – that to many in Cologne he was known simply as the “Afftrünnige” (from ‘Abtrünniger’/renegade and ‘Affe’/monkey). Thomas supported us immensely as both a friend and as an employee in establishing Climb-Inn Klettersport, acted as chief route setter at the Wupperwände and as a creative mind for the HardMoves Bouldercompetition. Thomas died in May 2009 as a result of a heart attack he had suffered on 1 December 2008.
